Schedule: Full-time, in-office

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually

Ascendo Resources is representing a growing luxury brand distributor of high-end commercial products in the Fort Lauderdale area that is seeking a polished, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to work closely with the owner and support daily sales operations, client communication, vendor coordination, and project follow-through.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone with 1-2+ years of professional experience who is looking to build a long-term career in a relationship-driven, luxury commercial product environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, eager to learn, and comfortable supporting ownership in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the owner to support sales activity, client follow-up, order coordination, and project-related communication.
• Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, product information, presentations, and other sales materials for clients and business partners.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, designers, contractors, and internal team members to ensure accurate and timely follow-through.
• Track orders, product availability, shipping updates, project timelines, and outstanding customer requests.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, pricing information, product details, and sales documentation.
• Support meeting preparation, calendar coordination, notes, reminders, and administrative tasks tied to sales and business development.
• Help manage inbound inquiries, route requests appropriately, and ensure customers receive a polished and responsive experience.
• Assist with showroom, product samples, catalogs, and presentation material organization as needed.
• Learn the company's product lines, customer base, and sales process in order to become a stronger support partner over time.
• Provide general administrative support to help keep sales operations moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Open to recent college graduates or candidates with 1-2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, administrative support, account coordination, hospitality, retail, design, distribution, or a related field.
• Professional, polished, and comfortable communicating with high-end clientele and business partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details, deadlines, and multiple moving pieces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and general computer systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, owner-led environment and take direction well.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Interest in luxury products, design, architecture, construction, interiors, or commercial projects is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Work Environment: 100% in-office in Fort Lauderdale, FL
• Opportunity: Direct exposure to ownership with room to learn the business and grow within sales, account management, or operations.
