This isn't a kitchen job. It's a way up. Funck's Restaurant Group runs 13 restaurants across central Pennsylvania —
and we're still opening more. Every kitchen in this group is led by people who started on a station. When the next
restaurant opens, we don't post the kitchen manager job online. We promote the lead cook who's ready. If you're a line
cook who's serious about this craft and tired of kitchens with no ceiling, this is where you come.

A real ladder. Line Cook → Lead Cook → Sous Chef → Kitchen Manager → the next new opening. Over the next
two years we'll build multiple full management teams, and they come from our own lines.
Food worth cooking. Seasonal menus and chef-driven specials at every location, vendor tastings and product demos
with our suppliers, and two restaurants — Leola and Palmyra — being built into Belgian beer destinations with 30+
draft lines and food to match. You'll have input on specials, not just tickets to fire.
Standards you can be proud of. Detailed prep recipes, real systems, kitchens that run clean and organized. We do it
right, because cooks who care can tell the difference.
Your experience counts. Veteran cooks aren't sidelined here — they're the backbone of our kitchens, and they're
who we train and promote first.

You're a teammate: you communicate on the line, help the new cook find their feet, and jump in where the kitchen

Experience on sauté, grill, or fry is a plus; work ethic and coachability matter more.
