Troy Babes in Toyland is a warm, welcoming, and nurturing childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children. We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our team for part- time afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Assist with afternoon routines, including snack time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Communicate professionally with parents and fellow team members.
• Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CDA, associates degree, bachelors degree or other early childhood credentials (or currently enrolled, if applicable).
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification ( or willingness to obtain) .
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Reliable, punctual, and caring.
• Physical Requirements: Employee must be capable of performing physical demands of the job, including but not limited to lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.
