Talent Acquisition Specialist People & Talent This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Chicago, Illinois who will build our recruiting and onboarding practices. This is a foundational role where you’ll work directly with leadership to shape how we hire, who we hire, and what it feels like to join our team. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a proactive talent pipeline and employer brand through strategic sourcing partnerships, candidate relationship management, and a compelling narrative about what makes Go Abacus a destination for top performers Build and implement structured interviewing frameworks and onboarding programs that deliver a consistent, high-quality experience and give new team members a meaningful head start from day one Own end-to-end recruiting operations, including offer management and structured onboarding, building a repeatable hiring engine capable of supporting rapid headcount growth across all functions Establish recruiting metrics and reporting cadences, including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, and quality-of-hire indicators, to drive continuous improvement and surface actionable data for leadership decision-making Partner with the Executive Leadership Team and functional leaders to develop annual and rolling workforce plans that align hiring priorities with Go Abacus’s growth strategy, organizational design, and financial plans Requirements 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and talent acquisition Proven track record of managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions in a high-growth environment Familiarity with HRIS and sourcing tools such as Gusto and LinkedIn Recruiter Skilled at writing job descriptions that attract top talent Experience implementing process standards and designing onboarding pathways Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch Strong communication and interpersonal skills Action-oriented with strong judgement and follow-through #J-18808-Ljbffr Go Abacus
