Electrical Estimator Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely electrical estimates for commercial, multi-family and residential projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs , labor calculations, and material pricing
• Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and leadership during pre‑construction
• Participate in bid strategy, scope review, and value‑engineering discussions
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing tools, and historical cost information
• Support handoff from estimating to operations for awarded projects

Estimator Qualifications (Required)

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Strong understanding of wiring practices electrical systems and NEC requirements
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel (experience with Accubid Estimating Software a plus)
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and deadline‑driven
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience estimating medical, office, retail, multi-family or residential projects is highly preferred.
