Our center is seeking part-time afternoon teachers who may be available to work full-time hours as needed. Candidates should hold NC Child Care Credentials and have at least one year of relevant experience. We work with preschool children aged 1 to 12 in classrooms of 10 to 19 students. Additional education will positively impact the pay rate.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom instruction tailored to preschool-aged children
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Implement established curriculum to support child development goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in early childhood education
- Current NC Child Care Credentials
- Strong knowledge of child development principles
- Proficient in classroom management techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and the ability to manage time effectively
We are a small private company with four locations. Our first center was established in 1995 because the owners could not find quality childcare for their own child, so they bought an existing center, and we have all grown from there. It is 2026 and that child has grownup, married and has her own child now. Our commitment to quality childcare began then and continues to this day.
