Share your resume with us today!Primary Responsibilities.System level electrical architecture and designCreation of block diagrams, electrical system requirements, cable specifications, and cable drawingsComponent selection and derating activitiesNew hardware design verification testingSupport system level integration activitiesBasic Qualifications.Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.Candidate must have 8+ years of experience in hardware system design and test from architecture through implementationCandidate must have experience with technical problem solving and root cause analysisCandidate must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environmentCandidate must have the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams.Candidate must have cable design experienceCandidate must have proven understanding of fundamental circuits and circuit componentsCandidate must have hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods.Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work independentlyCandidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Preferred Qualifications.Experience with leading small to mid-sized technical teams.Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 class 3 and IPC J-STD-001 Standards.Electrical design for military hardware or aerospace systemsExperience supporting cable productionExperience with high power applicationsFamiliarity with AS50881 NASA Derating StandardCable design experience using SolidWorks Electrical, Creo Schematic, Draftsight, or Microsoft VisioExperience with special test equipment design/architecture to facilitate production testing of MIL rated components.Experience designing high-power AC electrical distribution systems including generators, UPS systems, transformers, circuit protection, and custom control panels**This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience.
