As an Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector Trainee, you will receive on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of fuel management for facilities with above and below-ground storage systems. This role involves learning about the equipment, documentation, and procedures necessary for conducting inspections.Tanknology is the largest company dedicated to protecting the environment from fuel leaks in tanks and piping systems. With operations nationwide, we are experiencing growth and seeking motivated individuals who are ready for a rewarding career with an industry leader.What You'll Do:Drive a company service vehicle to customer locations, often on a designated routePerform inspections of fueling facilities, including visual observations and site surveysProvide on-site training to customers or company staffConduct limited maintenance tasks based on site conditionsCapture inspection results using customized data collection software on handheld devices or laptopsWhat We're Looking For:Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times dailyBasic computer skills for data entryEffective communication skillsPassion for Safety: A commitment to safety is non-negotiable.
