About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Any 4 x 12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have: No license hits allowed Description: Start date: ASAP 13-week assignment with 48 guaranteed hours per week. Straight evening/nights shift. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Floating required. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of critically ill patients. Promptly respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns as needed. Administer medications, vasoactive infusions, blood products, and advanced therapies according to ICU protocols and individualized care plans. Assist physicians with complex procedures. Manage ventilators and invasive lines. Ensure accurate interpretation and documentation of clinical data. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, ICU processes, and discharge expectations. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team during rounds and throughout the shift. Coordinate care and plan interventions to promote continuity across transitions. Maintain meticulous documentation. Participate in unit-based safety, quality, and performance-improvement activities.
