Job Details Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: Pre-Op / Post-Op / PACU Location: Winchester, Virginia Start Date: 09/28/2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour day shifts Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month On-Call Requirement: As needed, up to 1 per week Float Requirement: May float to sister units as needed Job Requirements At least 2 years of recent Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU RN experience Strong Epic experience required Current ACLS certification Current BLS certification Current PALS certification from AHA Active Virginia RN license or compact license Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered, fast-paced recovery environment Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU Monitor post-op patients and support pre-op and PACU workflow Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient transitions and efficient patient flow Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication throughout the shift Support a patient ratio of approximately 2:1 Assist with coverage in sister units or the on-campus surgery center as needed Deliver compassionate care to patients ranging from infants to geriatrics Apply now for this rewarding PACU RN travel job in Winchester, Virginia and join a healthcare team committed to excellent patient care.
