Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control & Parts Room Associate to organize and maintain inventory in our parts room. This position involves organizing inventory across multiple storage rows, entering inventory into our inventory management system, operating a forklift, and handling materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at heights, performing heavy lifting, and has previous inventory and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain inventory across 8 rows of parts storage.
• Count, label, and accurately track inventory.
• Enter and update inventory information in the company's inventory management software.
• Receive, stock, and relocate parts and materials as needed.
• Operate a forklift safely to move inventory throughout the facility.
• Conduct routine inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous inventory, warehouse, or parts room experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required (certification a plus).
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software.
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders or elevated storage areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments.
• Inventory control or cycle count experience.
• Temp to Hire
• Background and Drug screening required
