Role Description Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at Community Bridges provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Boston area. We have full-time and part-time on-site roles that involve assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and community participation, while promoting independence and choice. DSPs help individuals access social, recreational, and educational opportunities, support them in building skills, and ensure a safe and respectful environment. Responsibilities include implementing person-centered support plans, documenting services, collaborating with families and clinical staff, and advocating for individuals’ preferences and rights. DSPs also participate in ongoing training and team meetings to maintain high-quality, compassionate care. Qualifications Background or interest in Human Services and supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and collaborate with individuals, families, and team members. Willingness to participate in Training related to person-centered support, safety, and regulatory requirements. Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to follow individual support plans and agency policies. Ability to assist with daily living activities, including community outings, while maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education in human services or related field is a plus. Previous experience working with people with disabilities or in a caregiving role is beneficial but not required. Capacity to work on-site in the Concord, NH area, including potential evening or weekend shifts as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Community Bridges
