At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. Expeditors are responsible for organizing orders and staging entrees for servers to provide guest food and beverage preferences timely and to temperature. Expeditors engage in communication with Culinary team to enhance productivity while maintaining an eye for detail and organization of the guest’s orders. This position is unique, as it will also require flexibility to perform Food Runner duties when needed. The Food Runner is responsible primarily for assisting the Food Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact. Refined organizational skills. Personable and service oriented individual required. Ability to multitask and work under pressure and prioritize. Food & Beverage knowledge and restaurant station set-up preferred. Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight. Ability to push and pull heavy objects. Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances. Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays required. Availability through Spring, Summer, and Holidays. Knowledge in food, wine and spirits required.
