Redstone Recovery Specialist IISchedule: Full-TimeThe Redstone Recovery Specialist II (RRS II) provides non-clinical, peer-based recovery support to individuals in detoxification and early recovery within an inpatient hospital setting. Using lived experience, this role engages patients during withdrawal stabilization, promotes hope, and supports discharge and transition planning. As an advanced-level position, the RRS II delivers patient-centered care while serving as a key resource to the interdisciplinary team, demonstrating competency in patient engagement, non-clinical crisis support, and care coordination. The role also includes mentoring peers, supporting workflow efficiency, and promoting program consistency through day-to-day operational leadership. Ability to obtain RSPS within 6 months of hire date.Food Handler CertificationExperience:Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferredWorking knowledge of behavioral health conditions and addiction recovery principlesExperience in detox, inpatient, or crisis stabilization settingsDemonstrated ability to manage high-stress and emotionally complex situationsEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsAbility to apply basic behavioral health and recovery support techniquesProficiency in basic computer applications (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel) #J-18808-Ljbffr
