Responsibilities

What You'd Be Doing

• Coordinate Shipments: Arrange, track, and monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments across various transportation modes (truckload, LTL, ocean, air, etc.).
• Vendor & Carrier Management: Build relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight brokers, and carriers to negotiate rates and ensure reliable service.
• Problem Solving: Proactively address delays, damaged goods, or route disruptions to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all shipping documents (Bill of Lading, customs paperwork, packing lists) are accurate and compliant with industry regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with warehouse teams, customer support, and inventory managers to streamline operations and update delivery timelines.

What We Look For

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a related role.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Logistics Management Software (LMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
• Communication Skills: Clear, direct, and professional communication skills for working with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills with an eagle eye for paperwork accuracy and tracking details.
• Adaptability: Ability to stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure when shipping hiccups occur.
