Senior Sales Manager - International Logistics (United States)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive new business growth and develop long-term relationships with U.S. importer and distribution customers.

This role is ideal for an experienced international logistics, freight forwarding, or NVOCC sales professional with strong knowledge of Asia–U.S. trade lanes and an established network within the U.S. market.

The successful candidate will provide integrated import and distribution solutions, working across ocean and air freight, customs brokerage, drayage, warehousing, and domestic distribution.

The position offers a competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission structure , with additional performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business with U.S. importers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce companies, with a focus on Asia–U.S. and Southeast Asia–U.S. trade lanes.
• Develop and manage customer relationships and grow existing business opportunities.
• Promote integrated logistics solutions, including:
• Ocean freight (FCL/LCL)
• Air freight
• Customs brokerage
• Drayage
• Warehousing
• Domestic transportation and distribution
• Amazon FBA and retail distribution solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across supply chain, procurement, logistics, and operations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
• Work closely with overseas offices, operations, and customer service teams to ensure effective shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and freight market developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer information in CRM systems.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business updates.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Contribute to revenue growth and achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or related transportation services.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing U.S. customer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of import logistics and Asia–U.S. trade lanes , including Southeast Asia.
• Understanding of the end-to-end import process, including Incoterms, ISF, customs clearance, drayage, warehousing, and domestic distribution.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets or revenue goals.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop new business while managing and expanding existing customer relationships.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business activities as needed, including periodic travel to Houston, TX or Los Angeles, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese .
• Established professional network in the Houston and Gulf Coast markets .
• Experience serving customers in industries such as industrial, retail, consumer goods, petrochemical, new energy, or recycling.
• Existing relationships with customers involved in Asia–U.S. trade.
• Experience working with Asia-based freight forwarders or logistics companies.
• Experience with e-commerce logistics , including Amazon FBA and retail distribution center deliveries.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Experience with logistics TMS or transportation management systems.
