As Lahey continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Post‑Ambulatory Care Department. Our PACU nurses care for a diverse patient population from general surgery, transplant, orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, oncology, and urology. The nursing staff collaborates actively with a variety of multidisciplinary services. PACU nurses thrive in an atmosphere of rapid patient turnover to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center utilizes complete computerized charting (EPIC) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients. The hospital is a teaching institution with over 5,000 staff and 345 beds, located in Burlington, MA – north of Boston and south of Manchester, NH, with free parking and nearby amenities. Qualifications Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred At least 1 year of previous nursing experience in an acute or sub‑acute setting required Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred Current Massachusetts registered nurse license required Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) ACLS certification preferred Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication, the ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and PC skills Lifting up to 75 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs Pay Range $37.00 - $95.37 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, job responsibilities, and other permissible factors. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
