MLee Healthcare is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role at a top-tier hospital near Nesmith, SC. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with a strong background in perioperative nursing and hands-on experience as a First-Assist in the OR. The role offers the chance to make a direct impact on patient outcomes while working alongside a high-performing surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons during procedures, performing crucial tasks such as suturing, tissue handling, and ensuring optimal exposure of the surgical site.
• Patient Care: Continuously monitor patients' conditions throughout surgery, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Preparation & Setup: Organize and prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment is sterile, functioning properly, and ready for use.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to provide efficient, high-quality care throughout the perioperative process.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time, permanent, direct-hire
• Shifts: Day shifts available with the option of 4x10 or 5x8 schedules
• Setting: Hospital-based Operating Room

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as an RN First-Assist in the OR is required.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid South Carolina RN license (or compact license), along with current certification as a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) .
• Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
