Position Highlights:

• Seeking a board certified/board eligible family medicine or med/peds trained physician to join established practice providing a full range of Primary Care services for all age groups.
• Opportunity available at our Middleburg Clinic in beautiful, rural PA
• Full-time or part-time physician option available
• Ambulatory practice setting only; full-scope practice; minor procedures done in office; specialists available for referrals and consults in all fields.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Maintains a private practice at a location(s) within the Medical Group.
• Provides primary care family practice medical professional services to patients.
• Provides in-hospital patient care and consultations as required.

Common Expectations:

• Participates in Medical Staff activities as required and/or as requested.
• Observes the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Hospital and the Medical Staff.
• Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
• Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Administrative skills.
