Graduate Medical Education Institutional Coordinator (938784) – responsible for administering accreditation, assessment, and evaluation of the GME Sponsoring Institution. Consults with Program Directors and Program Coordinators on accreditation requirements and processes. Ensures UT Southwestern complies with rules, regulations, policies, administrative guidelines, and legal issues that impact GME programs. Manages compliance with ACGME Institutional, Common, and specialty/subspecialty-specific Program Requirements. Assesses and analyzes content and process performance measures of the GME Sponsoring Institution, including annual scoring of the GME Program Performance Dashboard. Coordinates, monitors, and supports Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC) and its subcommittees/task forces. Assists the DIO and GMEC in developing the Annual Institutional Review/Action Plan and updates. Analyzes data to identify institutional trends; designs and implements initiatives to address weaknesses. Facilitates coordination and monitoring of Institutional Self-Studies and Institutional Site Visits. Oversees agenda development for GME Advisory Council meetings. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of new program applications, Annual Program Evaluations, ACGME updates, Resident and Faculty Surveys, Milestone evaluation reports, etc. Provides indirect supervision of GME Program Coordinators and program support staff. Coordinates program-level accreditation activities, including Program Site Visits and Self-studies. Serves as liaison between GME and ACGME, Texas Medical Board, NRMP, FREIDA, and other stakeholders. Coordinated Program Letter of Agreement processes and maintenance. Contributes to onboarding and credentialing of new and transferring GME trainees. Collaborates with Dean's office staff to ensure accurate reports for leadership, state, and other entities. Manages residency management system (MedHub) utilization. Plans and supports special GME projects and events. Maintains records of all GME activities and policies. Performs decision-making and problem-solving to meet GME and institutional goals.
