Location: 13817 Cedar Park, TX Job Purpose Destiny Foods, Inc., a franchise owner of Subway, is seeking a full‑time Restaurant General Manager. This individual is in charge of the store, with authority to make necessary decisions to operate the store at maximum profit, efficiency, and superior customer service. Shifts will vary day to day and may include morning and/or evening shifts. A Restaurant General Manager has ultimate responsibility for safeguarding the financial success of a specific franchise and maintaining the reputation of the company. The role must ensure efficient restaurant operations as well as maintain high productivity, quality, and customer‑service standards. Responsibilities include Inventory Control, Operations, Personnel Administration, and Sales. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor food and labor costs to meet store goals Ensure availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning up to 15 employees; follow up on work results Ensure store is staffed appropriately during high traffic and cover shifts as necessary Perform minor repairs while maintaining store equipment; notify Store Manager and/or Area Managers if repairs by an outside vendor are needed Recruit, select, orient, and train employees Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results Manage employee performance to meet company policies, procedures, and guidelines Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity Ensure hygiene standards are maintained and the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations along with Subway standards Maintain high standards of customer service Handle customer complaints and queries efficiently and professionally in line with Subway standards Achieve financial objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action Secure merchandise by following security systems and measures Provide a safe and clean store environment for employees and customers Comply with legal requirements to maintain store stability and reputation Stay up to date with industry and company training through Destiny Foods and the University of Subway Pay rate of $780 a week plus tips while in training. Increase to $865 a week plus tips with store assignment Annual Pay Rate: $40,500 a year Position Requirements Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar role Proven excellent customer service experience Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as POS and food delivery vendors Experience tracking expenses, pricing, and vendor relationships Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills Strong communication skills, tact, and diplomacy Self‑motivated and ambitious Enthusiastic and quick learner Good organizational and time‑management skills Results‑driven approach to work Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills Holder of a Manager food handler permit Working Conditions Hours are generally irregular, long, and shift‑based. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Managers are required to work a minimum of 45 hours a week. Some managers may work split shifts, with early starts, time off in the middle of the day, and return for a later shift. The Restaurant General Manager is the store’s primary key‑holder and may be called to the store before, during, or after business hours in the event of an emergency. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, use of hands, walking and standing for extended periods, long hours, lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, and repetitive tasks. Occasional local driving may be required.
