Senior Cobol Developer
Location: Albany, New York Duration: 2 years Contract Position
Job Description:
- 84 months experience of COBOL/JCL with version z/OS 4.2.0/v3.2
- 84 months experience of VSAM file structures
- 84 months experience of DB2/SQL
- 84 months experience of Endevor
- 60 months experience of Data Analysis & Design, Data Quality issues/Remediation
- 84 months experience of CA-interest
- 72 months experience of Lead programmer experience
Responsibilities: Based on a set of business requirements the Software Architect Expert will be required to define data requirements and write application specifications and design for data transformation. Programs will be written in Cobol based on the requirements for a COTS vendor solution. Unit testing is required as well as writing test plans for the implementation of remediations for data quality issues. When testing is completed, the Software Architect Expert will be required to migrate the programs to the production environment and perform post production validation of the implementation.
