Dishwasher - Part TimePalm Creek Resort & Residences Casa Grande, AZ, US Seasonal Part Time $16 per hourDishwashers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of all dishes, glassware, tableware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. They also ensure the dishwashing area is maintained, clean, safe and sanitary.Job DutiesCleans and sanitizes all dishes, flatware, glassware, and kitchen pots, pans and utensilsSorts and stacks clean dishes; carries clean dishes to cooking area or other proper storage areaOperates dish washing machines safely and according to manufacturer specificationsUtilizes proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer chemical amounts in dish machinesHandles tableware and glassware carefully to prevent breakage and lossEmpties kitchen trash on a regular basisMaintains the cleanliness of the kitchen and dish areas including sweeping floors and clearing dirty dishes from cooking areaPerforms shift opening and closing duties including cleaning kitchen mats, sweeping, and mopping kitchen and dishwashing areasAssists with food preparation work as neededAdheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED (Preferred)Some High School Education (Required)6 months in Previous restaurant or customer service experience (Preferred)Ability to work under minimal supervisionBasic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internetMust be able to lift at least 50 lbsStrong communication skillsStrong customer service skillsMust be able to pass the Safe Food Handler Certificate Program within 60 days from date of hirePERKS & BENEFITSAt Sun Outdoors, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded, and transformed.
