Overview Location - Keene, New Hampshire Under the guidance of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor and adhering to established technical standards, this position is responsible for producing ultrasound images of the heart and related structures for patients of all ages, enabling physician interpretation. An Echocardiographer must possess a solid understanding of the principles of growth and development throughout the life span and be skilled in gathering and evaluating information pertinent to the patient’s age-specific needs. This role involves providing the necessary care to achieve the desired clinical outcomes. Additionally, the Echocardiographer must be adept at interpreting and adjusting therapeutic approaches based on the patient’s nonverbal cues, psychosocial needs, physical limitations, and other specific concerns related to age or illness. Responsibilities Produce ultrasound images of the heart and related structures for patients of all ages to enable physician interpretation. Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to assess and address age-specific patient needs. Provide appropriate care to achieve clinical outcomes and adjust approaches based on patient-specific concerns. Qualifications A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, along with an RDCS certification.
