Work Environment
This role offers a fully remote work setting that utilizes advanced telehealth technology, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining high-quality support for your clients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using telehealth platforms with clients from various backgrounds and experiences.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify client strengths, challenges, and treatment objectives, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and circumstances of each client, integrating various therapeutic methodologies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, facilitating referrals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and assessment outcomes in alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This position will involve working with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health challenges. You'll provide therapeutic support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship dysfunction, and more, contributing significantly to each client's healing process.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Must possess full licensure to practice independently as a mental health professional, specifically as:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- No provisional or limited licenses; candidates must not have any disciplinary actions against their licenses.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and make informed evaluations regarding treatment planning and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in client interactions.
- Proficient in technology and comfortable utilizing telehealth systems and electronic health record tools.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a telehealth environment is preferred, showcasing the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to virtual platforms.
- Experience with a variety of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapies and interventions.
- Familiarity with documentation and insurance billing processes commonly used in private practice settings.
