We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team in Reno, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and programming commercial fire alarm systems while maintaining compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities include :
- Installation, programming, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshooting system deficiencies and performing corrective repairs.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Completing inspection reports, service documentation, and customer paperwork accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and OSHA requirements.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
Pay type: Hourly
Pay range : $25.00 - $35.00 (DOE)
Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Troubleshooting and panel programming experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of fire alarm installation, inspection, service, or programming experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background screening and drug testing, if required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- F-Card
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level I and/or II certification preferred, but not required.
