Job Description Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC , a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and service needs for commercial and government clients, is seeking a full-time Data Scientist II to support a DoD customer based in San Diego, CA .

Responsibilities: Work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently. Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Develop and implement techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. Create dynamic data reports. Perform software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts. Utilize scripting languages such as Python and R, and use common packages for data science applications. Qualifications and Requirements: Master's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Bachelor's Degree in the same fields, or Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 10 years of relevant focused experience. Relevant Industry Certifications: CompTIA Cloud Essentials, Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA), Certificate of Cloud Security (CCSK) CompTIA A+ CompTIA Security+ EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA), Cloudera Certified Data Scientist (CCDH) Certified Apache Hadoop Developer Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE), Private Cloud, Certified Experience and Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to learn and apply technical concepts. Experience with scripting languages such as Python and R, and related packages. Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with API building, ETL pipelines, web application servers, or search indexing. Experience with programming tools like Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Requests.
