Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse CVICU

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). Required to work every other weekend.

Contract length is 36 hours per week with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block.

2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Experience with Epic charting system required

Skills in IV therapy, telemetry, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring required

Experience with ECMO, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and conscious sedation preferred

Provide care to cardiac, vascular, and thoracic ICU patients

Manage ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support

Administer medications and titrate drips as per protocols

Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret arterial blood gases

Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions and line management

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
