Medical Assistant Orthopedics Outpatient Clinic

Position Details

Location: Pasadena, CA 91107
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience
Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
Current BLS Certification
Epic EMR experience required
Strong venipuncture skills

Key Responsibilities

Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations
Obtain and document vital signs
Record patient history, medications, and allergies
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
Assist physicians with orthopedic procedures
Support casting applications and dressing changes
Administer immunizations and injections as directed
Perform urine specimen collection and testing
Coordinate follow-up care and patient communications
Maintain accurate patient documentation within Epic
