Electronics Assembler Technician

Electronics Repair Tech | Houston, TX 77064

Pay: $14/hr | Shift: M–F, 8 AM–5 PM (OT/Sats as needed)

Troubleshoot & repair electronic units down to component level using schematics & diagnostic tools.

Key Duties:

• Diagnose & repair electronics to operational state

• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters & soldering irons

• Read PCB schematics & technical docs

• Run setup & functional tests

Requirements:

• HS diploma/GED

• 1–3 yrs electronics repair exp

• Must read PCB schematics & solder

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electronic and electrical issues down to the component level to identify causes of malfunction.
• Perform repairs to return units to an operational state in accordance with work instructions and repair procedures.
• Set up and test units to verify proper functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Use diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test fixtures to evaluate unit performance.
• Operate hand tools and small power tools, including soldering irons, crimpers, and basic mechanical tools.
• Read and interpret PCB schematics and technical documentation as required for repair tasks.
• Identify unresolved issues or potential concerns and communicate them to engineering or supervision.
• Support production testing and engineering activities as assigned.
• Follow established safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.








Experience/Skills:
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent. • 1–3 years of experience in electronics repair or a related manufacturing environment, or equivalent hands-on experience. • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering equipment required. • Ability to read PCB schematics required. • Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
