Job Responsibilities
- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and formulate customized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough, holistic patient care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers about therapeutic techniques that foster continued progress at home.
- Track Progress and Adapt Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and update treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain aligned with their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by a recognized institution.
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
