Preparing analytical standards and reagents Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software Documenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peersSupporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assignedUtilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problemsDocument experiment execution using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocolsPrioritize and organize work to meet project deadlines and support team goalsCommunicate effectively with co-workers and client staff membersDue to close work with specific bacterial strains, the following vaccinations will be offered by the company:(Pneumovax 23)(Menactra)(Tdap)QualificationsBS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environmentExperience working with proteins or carbohydratesDirect experience performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and (CGE) experience is requiredExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong computer skillsIncumbent must be organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a collaborative environment.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, onsite Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, position is located in Sanford, North Carolina.
