Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' speech and communication development throughout the school year near Dearborn, MI. This assignment allows you to impact both high school and early childhood learners as you guide them toward greater confidence and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, communication disorders, or a related field
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Michigan
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
Position Details:
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week, working Monday through Friday
- Assignment dates: August 24, 2026 – February 5, 2027
- Dynamic grade levels: Serve high school students from August 24 to November 3, and transition to working with early childhood students from November 3 through the end of the assignment
- Responsibilities include conducting speech-language assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, providing direct therapy, progress monitoring, and documenting student growth
