Registered Nurse - Antepartum/Postpartum

Location: Frederick, MD

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: Join a suburban lifestyle with convenient access to both Baltimore and Washington DC. This position is located in a Family Center unit specializing in couplet care, newborn assessment services, and antepartum patient services. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide care for postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients, while also supporting Labor and Delivery needs as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Support couplet care and newborn assessment services.
• Assist in labor and delivery as needed, excluding triage and circulating.
• Deliver education and discharge teaching to parents.
• Participate in high-risk antepartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care RN experience required.
• Previous experience in antepartum care and fetal monitoring preferred.
• Active C-EFM certification required at the time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Current MD/Compact RN license in hand, no exceptions.
• Experience with travel assignments required.
