Associate Veterinarian Duluth, MN
An established multi-doctor small animal hospital is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and high-performing medical team. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor with a strong interest in surgery and dentistry who values clinical excellence, mentorship, and teamwork in a well-equipped environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform routine and elective surgical procedures, including dentistry
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, and wellness plans
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure in the state)
- Strong clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and client education abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Interest or experience in surgery and dentistry preferred
