Registered Nurse (RN) - MICU

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights, with a combination schedule. Assignments are reviewed every 4 weeks.

Travel assignment; travel experience required. Candidates must have experience in acute care within the last 12 months.

Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required.

Current acute care experience in the specialty required.

Patient ratio experience: 2:1.

Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or director.

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH/NIHSS.

Must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission.

Experience with EPIC charting is required.

Manage ventilator settings and mechanical ventilation.

Utilize advanced monitoring tools, including arterial pressure monitoring and CRRT.

Administer medications, including chemotherapy and vasoactive drips.

Conduct patient assessments and interpret laboratory results.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Monitor and manage complications related to critical care conditions.

Orientation lasts for 72 hours. Background checks and compliance with fingerprinting requirements are mandatory. Parking details will be provided.
