Responsibilities Perform sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA 88), OSHA and the Georgia Department of Community Health and other applicable regulatory and established standards as may be applicable. Perform venipunctures, and obtain/prepared blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assist technical staff in non-clinical tasks. Qualifications High School graduate or GED (Minimum Education Required). No experience required (Minimum Experience Required). No licensure/certification required by law (Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law). Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred. Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred. Working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes is preferred. Experience in performing EKGs is preferred.
