Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Central Texas

Start Date: September 1, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week, 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• 14-bed Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio providing critical care
• Meditech electronic health record system with standard ICU equipment and technology
• Collaborative team environment with experienced staff including dedicated patient care assistants and unit clerks
• Hospital recognized with Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade "A" for patient safety and quality care
• Vasopressor management and advanced critical care experience required
• Floating as needed per facility policy to support patient care across units

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Demonstrated experience with vasopressor management in critical care settings
• Strong attendance record and professional reliability essential
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
