We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Development/Infection Preventionist to join our team full-time. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of care we provide and ensuring the implementation of effective infection control practices.

Position Overview: As a Staff Development/Infection Preventionist, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing staff training programs while ensuring compliance with infection prevention protocols. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate staff training programs related to infection prevention and control.

• Monitor and track infection rates, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.

• Provide ongoing education and support to staff on infection control practices.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement best practices for infection prevention.

Qualifications:

• RN License

• Previous experience in infection prevention or staff development in a healthcare setting.

• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
