Travel Physical Therapist - $1,957 per week

Position TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Monroe, Georgia. Job Details Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8-hour days. Employment Type: Travel. Position Title: Physical Therapists - PT THER - Travel Job ID: #1404370 Responsibilities Evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Billing within the respective setting, following guidelines. Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying with state regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged). Exceptional candidates with appropriate background may qualify with 6 months. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment.
