Biology Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist

Biology Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About the Role We're looking for biology experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex biology - from molecular mechanisms to systems-level concepts - making a real impact on the future of science-focused AI.

- Design challenging biology questions that rigorously test AI reasoning and knowledge
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise scientific logic
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Identify gaps or errors in AI outputs across undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks and improve AI performance
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and provide structured, actionable feedback
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- No prior AI experience required
- Experience in data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with scientific writing or peer review processes
- Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology)
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs and institutions
- Fully remote and flexible - work on your schedule, from anywhere
