Responsibilities We’re looking for a motivated P&C Actuary —either newly credentialed or close to finishing their FCAS—who’s ready to take the lead on a wide range of actuarial work and help shape the future of our company. In this role, you’ll be part of a larger actuarial team, but function as the go-to actuary for a business unit, responsible for: Quarterly reserve analyses and presenting results to leadership Annual loss ratio forecasts and pricing support for underwriters Regular updates and explanations for management (e.g., rate changes, claims trends) Supporting teams across underwriting, claims, reinsurance, finance, data/IT, and risk More Than Just Numbers This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with others and wants to apply their skills across the business. Be a key contributor in a growing company Take on a wide range of responsibilities with support to grow into leadership positions Connect with and learn from over 200 actuaries across our global team Qualifications What We’re Looking For Strong communication and people skills to get results Solid technical background, ideally with Python, R, or similar capabilities Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field 5–8 years of P&C actuarial experience FCAS or near-FCAS (or international equivalent) Working knowledge of SQL and Python or R to manipulate and retrieve data Executive-level communication skills able to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders Independent thinker who can challenge the status quo while maintaining professional and collaborative relationships Prior experience with reserving, insurance financial reporting and controls preferred but not necessary Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
