The County Recorder keeps the official records of the county, recording mortgages, deeds, and other documents involving property. The Recorder also maintains up-to-date maps which show current ownership of every section of land. Posting Date: October 21, 2026 Closing Date: November 4, 2026 POSITION: Customer Service Associate I POSTING #: 6560-1026sr The Opportunity: Under close to general supervision of the Administrative Supervisor – Recorder, performs entry level customer service duties as needed to assist the public and various agencies with accessing public records. Monitors accuracy of indexes in the County database. Assists with producing the parcel abstract. Grade: 716 Starting Pay: $17.98 - 20.62 Hourly Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of general clerical support work experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered. Preferred Candidates will possess some of the below attributes: Preference may be given to applicants who have a documented typing speed at or above the rate of forty (40) WPM net. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Selected applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
