Title
Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Requirements
- License: Oregon licensure required (compact state license must be in hand at submission)
- Certifications: BLS, NBCOT
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an inpatient acute care hospital setting required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding therapy goals and safety measures.
- Plan and oversee discharge planning, including safe transfer and lifting techniques.
- Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety and injury prevention protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- Block schedules required; approximately 4 weekend days/month.
- Pre-approved time off must be requested upfront; must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Candidates must disclose prior employment with the organization, if applicable.
- Local radius of 50 miles for submissions; only one submission to a partner facility at a time.
- No contact with the facility directly unless instructed by recruiter/account manager.
