Steward Position

We are seeking a dedicated Steward to join our team at Tappan Hill Mansion. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stocked.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and storage areas.
• Assisting with washing dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils.
• Ensuring kitchen supplies and equipment are stocked and organized.
• Disposing of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assisting kitchen staff with maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Following all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with company policies and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, as required.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures is a plus.

Compensation: $17 an hour.
