Commission potential: Exempt—$0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per fun pass sold; Non‑Exempt—$2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per fun pass. Pay is bi‑weekly unless state law requires otherwise. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll lead a team committed to ensuring every guest leaves happy. Job Responsibilities Make daily decisions that involve time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness, and upholding product and guest service standards. Build sales and maximize profits by recruiting, training, developing, and motivating your team. Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service, and ensure a safe, clean environment. Understand cost control procedures, inventory, financials, and labor management. Take ownership of an Area of Impact (AOI) in one of four areas and, over time, rotate through each: The Kitchen – manage product ordering, food safety, scheduling, and cleanliness; oversee pizza dough preparation from scratch, cook pizza and other menu items. Sales – oversee cashier, salad bar, and gift shop; monitor sales results, upselling, and suggestive selling programs; manage inventory and profitability for merchandise and salad bar. Showroom – lead birthday party execution and planning, maximize bookings and satisfaction, optimize seating. Gameroom – partner with Technical Manager to keep games and equipment in top condition, analyze gameplay data and ticket payouts, keep area clean and guest‑ready. High‑school diploma or GED. At least 21 years of age (RVP may allow hiring at age permitted by local law for certain duties). Minimum one year of experience managing people, preferably in food service, or experience as an opening coordinator for at least six months. Essential Job Functions and Work Environment Lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat throughout the shift. Work in an environment with flashing/flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, non‑weather related wet, humid, extreme heat and extreme cold conditions.
