FullTime Clinical Young Family Dental Riverton, Riverton, UT, US Salary Range: $15.00 To $20.00 Hourly We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, skilled in chairside support, and able to maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals) Hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Patient Care & Communication Greet and prepare patients for treatment Review medical histories and update patient records Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines Organize and maintain dental supplies and instruments Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between appointments Administrative Support (as needed) Schedule appointments and confirm visits Assist with billing, insurance processing, or charting Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred X-ray certification (Required / Preferred — depending on state regulations) Knowledge of Patient Management Software.
