Senior Accountant

Own the Company's fixed asset accounting process, including additions, disposals, transfers, impairments, and depreciation. Maintain the fixed asset subledger and ensure timely reconciliation to the general ledger. Review capital expenditure requests to ensure proper capitalization in accordance with company policy and U.S. GAAP. Coordinate with Operations, Facilities, IT, and other departments to ensure complete and accurate capitalization of projects. Monitor construction-in-progress (CIP) accounts and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion. Support annual financial statement audits and SOX compliance activities by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles Experience with fixed asset accounting, including capitalization policies, depreciation, and fixed asset reconciliations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
