What You'll Do as a Kennel Assistant

As a Kennel Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and comfort of the pets in our care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all animals.
• Feeding, watering, and monitoring the well-being of pets.
• Assisting with exercise and enrichment activities to keep pets happy and active.
• Observing animals for signs of illness or distress and reporting to the appropriate team member.
• Providing exceptional customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with animals in a professional setting.
• Skills: A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Physical Requirements: The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning, as well as spending extended periods on your feet.
• Passion: A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being.
