General Cleaner

Six Mile, LLC (SML) is seeking a full-time General Cleaner to join our team! This position keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition, performs basic cleaning requirements, trash and solid waste removal, insect and rodent control, snow removal, carpet cleaning, and cafeteria/break area cleaning. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Performs routine cleaning Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Clean windows, glass, partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Maintains safety Adherence to all safety procedures and use of proper PPE. Adhere to all Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and applicable state and local environmental, health and safety rules and regulations. Performs incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude. ABOUT YOU High School diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year janitorial experience. Must have the ability to carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds.
